Working under contract to Larkscapes GWD, Brunswick, I have been responsible for front and back end development of this site.  User information, subscriptions and feedback are all integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CMS via API.

The client has a requirement to allow feedback on documents. So I integrated Flowpaper application with WordPress and the Dynamics CMS.  This allows users to comment on a .pdf document using an intuitive “sticky notes” type interface.

Feedback is stored on both on the web server and sent to the Dynamics CRM server via API – where it integrates with the user’s record.

The feedback interface replaces a form-based feedback mechanism and has been praised for it’s immediacy and ease of operation.

The site is based on a customised WordPress theme and contains a large amount of data in a variety of taxonomies, so getting the site architecture right was key.

Several back-end modifications, such as custom fields and extended file management improve the WordPress admin area for content managers.
